THE MUSEUM RELIES ON YOUR INTEREST, SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY

As a non-profit charity organisation, the Museum relies on support from individuals, businesses and the local community. There are different ways to help support Markfield Beam Engine and Museum in its mission of historic preservation and education:

DONATE

Over a year, it costs around £500 every time the engine is steamed. Whilst admission is free, donations of any size are always welcome and much appreciated.
Whether it be some loose change or a big cheque, every penny counts and is vital to help carry out the Trust’s mission to maintain this wonderful part of our heritage for current and future generations.

VOLUNTEER

The museum offers great volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and commitment levels in areas as varied as mechanical or electrical engineering, visitor guiding and assistance, marketing, fundraising, general housekeeping and maintenance etc…
If you are interested in volunteering, please click on the link below and fill out the form with your name, contact details and area(s) of interest.
